SOJI SOLARIN
"GIFTED SIGHT"
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Gifted Sight is a campaign film and editorial for Soji Solarin, created to feel like memory caught on tape. Shot on VHS, the film leans into imperfection and intimacy, while the outdoor editorials translated that same raw energy into stills for website and press. Together, they formed a cohesive visual language across film, web, and social.
MY ROLE
I directed, and shot both the film and stills, shaping a rhythm that blended spontaneity with intention. The VHS film held the nostalgic, home-movie quality Soji envisioned, while the outdoor editorials grounded the collection in its own context. Together, they provided the brand with a versatile body of assets that lived as campaign, website covers, and press imagery, while still carrying my own cinematic signature.

MELICA MINCA
ABOUT THE PROJECT
This editorial asset shoot for Melica Minca blurred the line between campaign and lookbook, designed for both press features and long-term website use. Shot with a raw, experimental energy, the images reflect the brand’s ethos of upcycling and reinvention. Each piece carrying traces of its past while stepping into something new. Rooted in Berlin’s rebellious spirit, the shoot balanced a grungy edge with a polished, luxury finish, capturing the tension where sustainability, fashion, and attitude collide.
MY ROLE
I directed, styled, and photographed the shoot, shaping a visual language that embodied both the grit and refinement of the brand. The process was about more than clean imagery. It was about sculpting an atmosphere where each look could speak for itself while still forming a cohesive story. By leaning into Berlin’s raw, grunge aesthetic and elevating it with a sense of editorial polish, I created assets that felt timeless enough to serve the brand’s website and press presence for over a year.

EXOCEEXISTE
ABOUT THE PROJECT
This editorial with Exoceexiste was shot as portfolio and press assets, with the aim of capturing his raw emotion and movement as a dancer. We had percussion playing in the background, letting the session unfold like a live performance. Every gesture and pause carried weight, and the images sit somewhere between portrait and performance, dramatic, raw, and true to Exoce’s identity as both an artist and a mover.
MY ROLE
I worked as both photographer and stylist, creating the look and mood around the emotions Exoce brought into the space. Instead of staging strict poses, I shaped an environment where he could dance, letting the movement guide the images. My job was to translate his energy into stills that carried the same intensity. These portraits went on to support his portfolio and press, opening new opportunities.

FAKER STUDIOS
ABOUT THE PROJECT
This project for Faker Studios was shot as an editorial lookbook for their collection, blending lifestyle and campaign imagery. The indoor setting, paired with bold carpets and muted backdrops, created a space that felt both lived-in and styled. The intentional balancing of intimacy with a polished, graphic edge. The images highlight the brand’s clean streetwear silhouettes while giving them a sense of place and story, moving the visuals beyond simple product photography into something cinematic and grounded.
MY ROLE
I photographed and directed the shoot, shaping the tone and layout so that the clothes could live between lifestyle and editorial. My focus was on how the collection sat within its environment. From relaxed moments in the living room to sharper, composed portraits against textured backdrops. By blending casual realism with a stylised frame, I built a body of images that served as both campaign material and long-lasting assets for the brand’s website and socials.

SIA SHRIAZ
JEWELLERY
ABOUT THE PROJECT
This shoot for Sia Shriaz Jewelry was designed to highlight the brand’s bold, handcrafted pieces in a way that felt tactile and expressive. The concept centred on intimacy, jewelry shown in relation to skin, fabric, and gesture, revealing both strength and softness. The series became more than just digital assets; it was printed for physical advertisements, used as a standing sign, and featured throughout a popup event, turning the visuals into part of the brand’s real-world presence.
MY ROLE
I approached this project by building a visual language around detail and atmosphere. My focus was on how the jewellery interacted with the body by framing it through texture, colour, and emotion rather than treating it as a static object. I worked across both photography and styling, shaping expressive poses, warm tones, and close compositions that amplified the pieces while still keeping a human intimacy at the core. What I brought was not just documentation of the jewelry, but a perspective that gave it narrative weight

THE SAHA HOUSE
ABOUT THE PROJECT
This editorial for The Saha House was created as seasonal website assets, shot on location in Bali to reflect an island-inspired, luxury lifestyle. The concept was rooted in elegance and place. Fabric against black sands, ocean spray, and rugged cliffs. The aim was to present the collection not just as clothing, but as part of a wider narrative of island living: raw, textured, and timeless.
MY ROLE
I led the shoot from start to finish, scouting Bali’s black sand locations, scouting the model and styling the looks to echo the textures and tones of the landscape. My focus was on how fabric interacted with rock, water, and light, giving the imagery a layered, tactile quality. The decision to use both color and black & white was intentional: color to draw out the richness of the island, and monochrome to emphasize movement and flow. With full creative freedom, I built a visual story that matched The Saha House’s elegance while grounding it in the raw beauty of Bali, designed exclusively for the brand’s website.

JERRYLINE
ABOUT THE PROJECT
This editorial with Jerryline was about capturing energy in motion. Leaning into blur, light play, and texture to create portraits that feel alive. Rather than static poses, the images highlight Jerryline’s personality through laughter, movement, and fleeting expressions. Styled by Francesca Thompson, the shoot became less about perfection and more about presence, resulting in a series that sits between portraiture and experimentation.
MY ROLE
As photographer, I built the visual approach around spontaneity and atmosphere. I worked with blur, shifts in color, and layered compositions to echo the energy Jerryline brought to set. My role was to translate her presence into imagery that felt honest and raw while still carrying an editorial edge. By leaning into imperfection and rhythm, I created photographs that move beyond simple documentation, turning the session into a visual performance.

TAMARAEBI
"GLORY"
ABOUT THE PROJECT
“Glory” is a visualiser created for artist Tamaraebi, built around intimacy, presence, and raw atmosphere. Shot in natural light and everyday surroundings, the film mirrors the grounded honesty of the track while carrying a cinematic edge. It sits somewhere between a music video and a moving portrait, stripping away spectacle to focus on emotion and voice.
MY ROLE
I directed and shot the visualiser, shaping it to feel both unpolished and intentional, like a glimpse into Tamaraebi’s world. My focus was on simplicity: letting movement, framing, and texture do the storytelling rather than heavy production. By leaning into real environments and a handheld approach, I created a film that feels close and human while still holding a sense of visual weight, amplifying the spirit of the song.

MARZ BGX
ABOUT THE PROJECT
This editorial with Marz BGX was created as part of his press kit material, designed to present him in a refined, timeless way for media and professional use. The series balances intimacy with style, capturing Marz in moments that feel both powerful and grounded. It was built to give press and partners strong visual assets that reflect his presence and artistry.
MY ROLE
I handled the photography and creative direction, shaping the visual language to align with Marz’s identity and the purpose of a press kit. From lighting to framing, every choice was about highlighting his personality while keeping the images versatile for media use. The result is a collection of portraits that feel both polished and personal. Making sure the output was professional enough for press, but still rooted in authenticity.

SERAPH ROHE
"THE UNIFORM"
ABOUT THE PROJECT
MY ROLE
“The Uniform” was created for Seraph Rohe as a focused editorial and look book collection that strips things back to essentials. The concept was simple: let the clothes speak. No heavy staging, no excess, just clean silhouettes, muted tones, and the ease of everyday wear. The shoot provided the brand with versatile assets for press and digital platforms, aligning perfectly with their understated aesthetic.
My role was to translate that simplicity into images that still carried weight. I worked with light and posture to highlight structure without over-styling, keeping the focus on form and fabric. The aim wasn’t to overcomplicate but to capture the quiet confidence of Seraph Rohe’s pieces, delivering visuals that feel natural, direct, and true to the brand’s identity.

FAITH
"CHARGE ME UP"
ABOUT THE PROJECT
“Charge Me Up” is a high-energy music video for Faith, set against the raw backdrop of city streets. The project was built to match the track’s urgency and fire, blending movement, light, and environment into a bold visual statement. Gritty, dynamic, and alive, the video amplifies Faith’s presence while rooting it firmly in the skate grunge landscape.
MY ROLE
I worked as the Director of Photography, shaping how the energy of the song translated on screen. My role went beyond camera work. I helped map and plan the shoot, from framing key sequences to finding ways to move with the artist’s rhythm. On set, I focused on creating visuals that carried momentum, making sure each shot felt charged and connected to the pace of the music. The result was a visual that feels as relentless and raw as the track itself.

PROJECT X
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Project X by Jay was built around movement. Therefore its only fitting that the editorial that puts that in the forefront, playing with the core principle at the centre of the brand’s identity. The shoot leaned into freedom of motion and expression, capturing pieces in action rather than in static poses. Clean backdrops gave space for the clothes to move, while the styling and direction highlighted how the collection lives on the body, not just on the hanger. The result was a set of lookbook and website assets that felt alive, carrying the rhythm and energy of the brand.
MY ROLE
My role was to channel that sense of play into the images. I worked with lighting and framing to give movement its own shape, making sure gestures and shifts in posture came through with clarity and attitude. Rather than locking the shoot into stiff poses, I encouraged fluidity and spontaneity, letting the clothes move with the models. The aim was to create visuals that didn’t just show the collection, but showed it in motion, delivering assets that captured both the spirit and versatility of Project X.

GABRIELLE
ABOUT THE PROJECT
This editorial with Gabrielle was designed to explore duality of strength and softness, presence and vulnerability. Shot with a mix of monochrome and color, the series highlights both her sharp elegance and her raw individuality. The styling leaned into textures and layering, balancing structure with fluidity. The result is a body of work that feels timeless and versatile, equally suited for portfolio use, press features, and editorial platforms.
MY ROLE
My role was to shape the tone and visual rhythm of the shoot. I worked closely with light, styling, and composition to draw out contrasts in Gabrielle’s presence: the intensity of her gaze, the delicacy of her gestures, the boldness of layered pieces against bare skin. Each frame was built to feel intentional yet unforced, allowing her personality to anchor the images. My focus was on creating editorial assets that not only captured her but also offered lasting flexibility for use across press, portfolio, and publication.

ABOUT ME.
I’m Maxim Adejumo, but when I create, I go by JUMO. A London based photographer and filmmaker chasing the moments that feel alive, not staged. My work lives somewhere between editorial polish and raw emotion; I’m interested in the space where a single frame can hold both elegance and mess, beauty and truth.

I didn’t get into this because I wanted to take “nice pictures.” I got into it because I’m obsessed with what happens when an image can make you feel something. That split-second of honesty, when someone lets their guard down, or when light and movement collide just right, that’s what I’m after. Whether it’s fashion, music, or film, I’m less interested in perfection and more in presence.

I like to think of myself as a collaborator rather than just a “shooter.” I’ll style, scout, direct, and scheme with you if it means getting to the heart of the story. I’ve worked with emerging artists, established brands, and everyone in between: what excites me most is when the work becomes bigger than the brief, when it transforms into something people feel compelled to look at twice.
At the heart of it all, I make images that last. Work that isn’t just looked at but felt, that leaves a mark long after the moment has passed. That’s JUMO. That’s me.
